David Kotz grew up on Bainbridge Island, learning the trees like everyone does when they're young; by climbing them, carving them, and putting them together to create something new.

With the opening of the Cascara Gallery, David is able to share the masterpieces he creates, with his community. By bringing locally sourced wood into many of his pieces, he weaves part of Bainbridge Island into all of them.
